Anaplan hires B2B marketing entrepreneur, Grant Halloran, as chief marketing officer
San Francisco, CA--Anaplan, the planning cloud for Sales, Finance, Operations, and HR, has hired B2B software expert Grant Halloran as chief marketing officer. Halloran joins from Infor, where he was global vice-president and general manager following its acquisition in 2012 of Orbis, a SaaS-based marketing software company he co-founded.
“I’m thrilled to join Anaplan. Our platform gives us huge scope to bring agility to virtually any enterprise planning process, which makes our market opportunity so large,” Halloran said. “This problem we fix is global and we are addressing it with a truly international business culture, which makes Anaplan such a dynamic and exciting company.”
Grant brings to Anaplan more than 18 years of expertise in the software industry. In addition to founding Orbis, he spent more than 10 years as the Managing Director and Co-founder of Australian-based companies Brand Manager and ProductBank. In 2001, he was recognized by eMag as one of 30 young people changing the world through technology innovation.
Grant’s hire reflects continued momentum by Anaplan. In 2014, Anaplan doubled its users to 35,000 + globally with a customer base across 20 countries.
Recently, Gartner recognized Anaplan in a second Visionaries placement in the Corporate Performance Management Suites category, adding to its January 6, 2015 placement in the Magic Quadrant for Sales Performance Management.
